On Wednesday, the Major League Baseball season began — and that means millions of diehard fans started logging on to the Gameday feed in the MLB App and MLB.com to catch live pitch-by-pitch scores and highlights for every match-up.
When they check out the Gameday feed, alongside the strikes, singles and homers, they'll be greeted by tidbits of commentary. They’re courtesy of the just-launched MLB Scout Insights feature, powered by Gemini and Google Cloud AI.

These advanced insights are meant to deepen fan engagement, and are delivered at a speed, scale and depth that’s only possible with AI and cloud technologies.
