Opening at the end of the year

The juxtaposed Noépé-Akanu checkpoint (Togo-Ghana border) should be operational at the end of the year.

The site was officially inaugurated in 2018.

Several technical difficulties delayed its opening, including the supply of electricity and water.

This border post is the symbol of the economic integration of West Africa.
