Waymo is bringing Gemini into its custom Ojai vehicles.

Waymo has brought Gemini to its purpose-built Ojai vehicles to create a more helpful and personalized ride. While the Waymo Driver safely navigates the roads, you can now use Gemini as an in-car AI assistant.

Just press the Gemini icon on the screen and use your voice to control the cabin or learn about your surroundings. You can ask Gemini to “turn the A/C to 65,” find the best nearby coffee shop, or share the history of a local monument you're passing.

Gemini operates entirely independently of the Waymo Driver and it remains completely inactive until you choose to engage with it. This new integration gives you hands-free control and a wealth of knowledge right from your seat.
